Today we are talking about this exceptionally rare burr elm country tavern table of beautiful colour and patination. The top consists of two stunning rare 2" thick book matched figured Burr Boards of dimensions seldom or if ever seen before. Held together by end cleats. The base is of typical 18th Century X Framed construction in highly figured Elm with a high centre stretcher. Not seen for a long time with such exceptional boards. Our restorers were very excited about this as they have not seen timber of this quality in long time.
